The Virginia Colonial Chapter’s mission is to support American Soldiers in the greater Hampton Roads area – Regular Army, National Guard, and Army Reserve, the dedicated civilians of the Department of the Army, and families. We provide a voice for the Army in Southeastern Virginia and around our nation, foster public support of the Army’s role in national security, and support local professional education and information programs. AUSA provides a “Voice for the Army – Support for the Soldier.”
In addition to our annual professional forum, we support the TRADOC Executive Forums and the ARCIC Distinguished Speaker Series. The chapter supports the TRADOC Band “Music Under the Stars” concert series, the ARCIC Memorial Day Observance, and provides awards for the 128th Aviation Brigade, the annual Soldier recognitions at our awards dinner, and two $1000 member/family member scholarships.
14-15 June 2017 in Williamsburg, VA
For over three decades our forum has brought together prominent military leaders, policymakers, senior industry executives, and scholars to discuss solutions to complex problems facing our Army. This year’s theme was “Innovation and Collaboration: Keys to Modernizing for Multi-Domain Battle” and included presentations from TRADOC Commanding General - General David Perkins and Acting ARCIC Director - Major General Bo Dyess.
